Sustainable Health Care in Our Community

Thanks to the generosity of donors like you, urgently needed medical equipment continues to be put into the hands of those who save lives and administer care at the GWM site of the Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital.

The GWM Foundation raises and stewards funds to support the Perth site in its delivery of quality, patient-centred health care. This happens only with the support of our community.

Many believe that governments fund healthcare completely. The reality is that governments pay for only a portion of hospital needs. Foundations exist in communities all across Canada because the high-quality care that you expect, and deserve, costs more than what is funded by government.

Your support is extremely important to us. Please continue to support the doctors, nurses and other key members of your local healthcare team. They need state-of-the-art tools to help ensure that you and your loved ones continue to receive first-class health care right here in Perth.

Lanark Civitan Club Donation

Dr. Robert Chaplin receiving a $4500 donation from Mr. Victor Tysick of the Lanark Civitan Club.

This donation will go towards a IV pain pump at the GWM Hospital. Total contributions from the Lanark Civitan Club to date is over $30,000.

Rotary Club Donation

On June 10th, 2011 The Rotary Club in Perth presented a $10,000 donation to go towards the CATSCAN project to Dr. Robert Chaplin, Chair of the GWM Foundation.

Their ongoing support brings their total contribution to the Foundation to over $80,000!
